Ciao Italia
Great food, great service and friendly staff! I love the Pasta Arabiata which is perfectly cooked pasta and spicy sauce with olives and is a good serving and well worth it.The Ciao Italia Pasta with the Chicken removed makes a really good option for a vegetarian option with fettuccini and mushrooms in white sauce. Hope it would be added to the menu as a veg option with a lower price.

Used to come here all the time.Current food quality is not what it used to be. Pizza was decent, and well made.Carbonara had a very weird texture. It was made with a bulk made cream, and had an almost whipped cream texture to the sauce. Lacked the iconic cheese flavour that comes from parmesan or pecorino, and missing the richness of egg yolk in a traditional cabonara.Calamari was extremely bland. The batter tasted of under cooked flour, and was missing basic seasoning in the batter. Bites were made better with the sauce dressed on-top, but there wasn't much, so most of the fish was very bland.Food was made and brought out very quickly however, which was very pleasant considering the full house. This of course comes at the expense of quality of food. Particularly the pasta dishes, which now look like it's more of a mass produced and quick turnaround affair, and less of the great Italian food it once was.

Fast service. Great mid range Italian restaurant. We went there around 6+ so it was not too crowded. We ordered Ciao Italia Fettuccine, Marinara Spaghetti, Pizza Calabrese, Steak, tiramisu & strawberry cheesecake. Food was amazing, one of the best Italian food we have had. Definitely recommended!

Ciao Italia
definitely long queue for waiting to have a seat here, hot spot restaurant.Food was good, but some of the pasta are definitely to soft to eat. Most of the food are soft then usual, not the texture and favour I really like...and the dining area is very crowd, may not want to come back again...

I’ve been coming to Ciao Italia since I was in high school - this place is an institution to most people in the area.I think that the Italian food may not be the best in Perth but that by no means makes it bad! They have great bold flavours and a wide variety on a menu that has been tried and tested for years. Their portions are good and usually one is enough to feed a person. Pizza is good here as well, although I think I’ll always prefer the pasta!Ever since expanding the restaurant seating has become less of an issue but I think on a popular night you will find that you still have to wait in line to get in. The venue itself can sit quite a large group provided you call up in advance, and parking around the area usually isn’t an issue. Staff are friendly and many of the same staff have been serving there for the longest time!I have many Italian restaurants I like in Perth and I think even for nostalgic value alone Ciao Italia is ok the list for me. Definitely give it a go if you like good quality Italian food!

Ciao Italia
This is byfar the best traditional Italian restaurant that I've ever had. Flew back to Perth just to have it again after 6 years and it's still as good as back then. The pasta and tiramisu is a must have and must not be missed.

Ciao Italia
Came for a casual family dinner on a Tuesday night. The restaurant was bustling as usual but service was still very quick. We ordered five dishes between five people and did not come close to finishing it all. The pasta dishes (spaghetti carbonara and tortelli funghi) were extremely rich and we felt the carbonara was not quite as tasty as it was previously. The calamari also seemed to be slightly lacking in flavour but was still a great meal.

Ciao Italia truly offers an authentic Italian dining experience! As expected, the place was bustling with people, and even on a Wednesday evening at 6:30 pm, there was already a queue. I patiently waited for 30 minutes to get a table. The restaurant seems to attract a lot of tourists, particularly Singaporeans. As a fellow Singaporean, I felt a sense of familiarity and camaraderie while dining there. The staffs at Ciao Italia provided excellent service, despite the busy atmosphere. They were polite, attentive, and made sure to promptly refill your water bottle as soon as it was empty. Kudos to them for maintaining such high standards of customer service! Now, let's talk about the food, which was simply delicious. It's possibly some of the best Italian cuisine I've ever tasted. The portions are incredibly generous, and you can easily share one plate of pasta between two people.I highly recommend their Lasagna, which is packed with flavor and incredibly satisfying. The Chilli Mussels are also a standout dish – fresh and incredibly tasty. However, there was one dish I wouldn't recommend – the Fettuccine Amatriciana. While it had a good taste, it lacked sufficient bacon, so I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for a protein-loaded option. The only downside of Ciao Italia is the cramped space. If you have a group larger than four, be prepared to squeeze onto two small tables.Despite the tight spaces and the wait for a table, Ciao Italia is definitely worth a visit if you're craving an authentically delicious and generously portioned Italian meal.

Ciao Italia
Very popular. Its a BYO place. No alcohol. The outstanding dish was the grilled squid. The tiramisu was lighter than usual but after a heavy meal? Perhaps a better idea. Pizza was ok. The chili mussels was delightful. Pasta was ok. Bruschetta was a bit overdone. 3 pax 6 dishes Aud 220 in the suburbs not exactly cheap
